We stayed at this campsite over the Easter holidays and had a great time. The owners were kind and attentive to their guests' needs. The atmosphere was welcoming and familiar, and the facilities were tidy and always spotless. We will definitely stay again if the opportunity arises. Thank you, and goodbye.

Our experience at Camping Village Il Poggio was truly excellent! The facility is well-organized, clean, and surrounded by greenery, perfect for both those seeking relaxation and those seeking activity and recreation. The staff is always friendly and helpful, ready to accommodate every request with a smile. The amenities are meticulously maintained, from the spacious pitches to the comfortable accommodations to the tidy and well-maintained common areas. A strong point is undoubtedly the family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a peaceful holiday in good company. Highly recommended for those seeking a vacation immersed in nature and tranquility.

There is a need for a good renovation; common areas are missing: bar and restaurant. ================================================== Response from Camping Village IL POGGIO (owner) Good morning Ms. Daniela, thank you for your evaluation and advice, but I believe that to review a structure like ours, it is necessary to at least experience it for a few days and I don't think you have ever been our welcome guest. Best regards

We stayed in this peaceful oasis for 5 days with our three-person camper and our dog. The pitches are huge, each with its own water fountain. A beautiful river flows nearby, and there are trails through the woods, and the air is fresh and clean. The campsite is still a bit basic, but the bathrooms are very clean everywhere. The owner and receptionist were very helpful and kind. I have to say thank you, because we truly relaxed! Recommended for anyone looking to escape the heat and chaos.

Campsite currently undergoing renovation, completely immersed in the woods, offering peace and quiet. Spotlessly clean restrooms. No market. Extremely friendly and welcoming owners. Recommended for trekking enthusiasts.

Perfect campsite for a cool, peaceful rest. We stayed in a campervan; the pitches were spacious and shaded. The facilities were a bit dated, but always spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly.

A comfortable and relaxing camping weekend immersed in the woods. Spacious pitch, clean and efficient facilities, access to electricity, and helpful and flexible staff. The location is excellent for hiking in the mountains, visiting the town, and even reaching the sea or river. It's cool even in the summer. Always remember your badge!

Not recommended. Starting from the entrance ramp between the road and the gate, which is in poor condition and dangerous. It's then impossible to reach the camper service for discharging grey water, while the container can be carried by hand on the internal road, which is also in poor condition and on a steep slope. There's a feeling that the facility isn't ready yet (not all fire extinguishers are present and waste bins are missing from the recycling center, maintenance staff are working, including a mechanical shovel). Perhaps it will be ready in some time, certainly not the access and exit ramp and camper service. ================================================== Response from Camping Village il POGGIO: I regret these comments, but I will take careful note of them so I can improve what can be improved. I'd like to draw on your detailed analysis to clarify a few choices: - the ramp up to the entrance gate will be the only area that will be resurfaced, even if your judgment seems a bit harsh. However, nothing can be done about its slope; it's been like this for over 300 years. The buildings date back to 1694, so it's physically impossible, including due to landscape constraints, to make any changes to the forecourt. The same applies to all the internal roads within the complex, which pre-existed the development. - Remaining within the general condition of the roads, out of respect for the site and certainly not for economic reasons, we have decided, and therefore chosen, to use drainage material, gravel, crushed stone, etc., for the internal roads, as required by law, eliminating and limiting asphalt and/or concrete to only the most at-risk areas. For further clarification, I would like to add that the facility has existed in this location since 1980, under a different management and brand. These roads have been used by thousands of vehicles, summer and winter, and no safety issues have ever been reported, despite the necessary precautions. The camper service is regularly and safely reached by vans and campers. Indeed, for motorhomes like yours, the recommended access is only in reverse. I have no direct experience with such a vehicle, but during routine maintenance, cement mixers and sewage trucks, for example, have driven up and down that road. However, a second camper service will be opened in the near future, in another area of the Village, and we will take your report to heart. The last point concerned the vehicles and personnel at work, which is absolutely true, and for which I apologize, but unfortunately the orography of the land, its size—more than 100,000 square meters—is a key factor. Weather and the time of year make regular mowing and grass collection necessary, which for the aforementioned reasons, for decorum and safety, are required to be repeated with a certain frequency. In conclusion, we always take criticism, even those that seem a little harsh, into due consideration. They represent a point of view different from ours, and we respect it. However, I personally, and on behalf of all those who work every day with the sole aim of making your stay at Camping Village il Poggio pleasant, wanted to explain our choices. You may or may not like them, but, being well-founded, they deserve immediate discussion, to be understood and therefore judged objectively. I hope that, on another occasion, you will be willing to return as our guest, not just for one night, so that you can visit, and I hope, appreciate, our facility. With the esteem we reserve for all our welcome guests, Rella Sante AD Camping Village il Poggio PS: If you would like, you can learn more about us by visiting our website: www.campingvillageilpoggio.it

Tent camping with a group of friends. The pitch was furnished with a wooden gazebo, tables, and benches, allowing us all to stay together. Restrooms were nearby, well-maintained, and always clean. Hot water was available at all hours. The campsite was very green and well-maintained. Definitely worth repeating.

I stayed at this recently reopened resort under new management. I found it to be well-kept and clean, with very helpful and welcoming staff. The climate is always breezy and cool, especially since it's nestled in the woods! The local restaurants serve excellent traditional Parmesan dishes, including excellent mushrooms and truffles. Highly recommended.

Who we are
What we are
What do we want to become
